Cardiff Arts Institute is a Canteen, Social Club & Music Room. A space to explore creative vision and push the boundaries of what it means to live, work and play in Cardiff right now. The Blackweir Tavern is a bustling student orientated pub situated just a short walk from Cardiff University’s prime student accommodation. The Blackweir Tavern also boasts two big plasmas, a beer garden and is a very popular venue.
The pub has been recently developed and manages to comfortably accommodate both students and locals with its mix of traditional atmosphere with contemporary decor and furnishings. The pub has a large plasma TV, and numerous smaller TFT screens dotted around the pub allowing an excellent viewing experience.

The Flora serves good quality home cooked food and snacks from midday until 8pm Monday – Saturday and midday until 6pm on Sundays. The pub is also host to a wide range of live entertainment, including karaoke, quizzes and poker nights.
